I’m Paolo Berretta, a wedding photographer by choice: I believe in authentic storytelling, attentive observation and the ability to make the emotion of a moment visible. I work in Siracusa and throughout Sicily, guiding couples with a reportage-style approach that favors spontaneous moments over staged poses. My aim is to document your day as it truly is, transforming gestures, glances and details into images that tell a unique story. My experience began from a passion developed early in life and has matured over time: I opened my first studio in 2004 and refined an approach based on selecting the images that matter, discarding the superfluous to keep only what moves. As a wedding photographer I enjoy being both witness and observer: I move with discretion, searching for the light and the decisive instant to return a sincere visual narrative. For me, reportage wedding photography means respecting timing, paying attention to detail and capturing those unrepeatable images that make your album truly personal. My way of working starts with listening: let’s meet and talk about your wishes and the atmosphere you want to remember. On the wedding day I operate with naturalness and professionalism, building a calm rapport with the couple and the guests so everyone feels at ease. In post-production I take care of the selection and editing of the photographs to enhance light, expressions and colors, with the intention of moving and inspiring those who view them. Beyond the wedding photography service, I create reportage that can include engagement sessions as a complement to your narrative.
