I’m Filippo Morabito — Filmor — a wedding photographer based in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. My approach is rooted in a reportage style: I aim to disappear behind the camera to capture genuine emotions, honest details and those one-off moments that never repeat. For me, wedding photography is above all storytelling: every frame should reflect the sensitivity of the day, the light, the gestures and the atmosphere you chose to celebrate your love. My approach to wedding photography is discreet and human. Before the big day we meet in person or via videocall to get to know each other, understand your project and build a rapport — I often suggest an engagement session as a relaxed test and a chance to create complicity. On set and during the ceremony I move with care: I prefer to document rather than direct, so your wedding images tell your story, not a posed or constructed version of it. Working across the province of Messina and especially in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, I bring the Mediterranean atmosphere, sea sunsets and local traditions into the visual narrative whenever they are part of the day. Each wedding reportage is tailored to you: from coverage of the preparations to the key moments of the reception, my attention is on emotions, natural light and the immediacy of detail. I work with available light whenever possible and focus on candid interactions, subtle gestures and the small details that shape your memory of the day.
