I’m Massimo S. Volonté, a photographer based in Paderno Dugnano with extensive experience in wedding photography. For me, being a wedding photographer means taking on a great responsibility: to record a unique day and turn it into a visual story. I work in a reportage style—unforced images, spontaneous moments, and details that convey the real atmosphere of the day. Why choose me? Because I put your story at the centre. I love environmental portraits and believe that photographing the couple in their most genuine places—at home, in church, at a villa or by the lake—helps create photographs that go beyond a posed image and truly tell emotions. I use both digital and film tools, including medium format when the situation calls for it: this allows me to alternate a modern aesthetic with the timeless quality of black and white, one of my favourite languages. My approach to wedding photography is simple and respectful: discretion during the ceremony, attention to relationships and glances, and care for the small gestures that make the day memorable. I often work with a second photographer to ensure complete coverage and two different perspectives—advice I always give couples because it guarantees more viewpoints and more naturally captured moments. How I work with you: we meet to get to know each other, discuss your priorities and the locations; when possible I prefer a brief informal meeting (even for a drink) before the wedding day to ease awkwardness and create a relaxed atmosphere. The result is a coherent photographic story, made of intimate images and shots that convey rhythm and feeling. Although based in Paderno Dugnano, I cover weddings throughout Lombardy and, when needed, in other regions (I have experience at locations such as Lake Como and various historic villas). I also offer complementary services that support the wedding: engagement portraits, corporate event coverage, and professional portrait photography upon request.
